BEST-109.jpg

I currently teach prenatal yoga through Abilene Yoga House. My yoga classes focus on practicing relaxation, or clearing of the mind, through the use of breath. I also encourage the practice of breath throughout the class to practice breathing through distractions. The classes are designed to protect mom and baby but also relieve common pains or discomforts associated with pregnancy. Lastly, my classes are designed to strengthen birthing persons in preparation for labor. The schedule is posted on the mindbody app or website, but can also be accessed through Abilene Yoga House website. I also offer private lessons, which can be personalized to an individual’s specific wishes. Please contact me to schedule or discuss private lessons.

Abilene Yoga House drop in: $15 ($12 for military)

Reviews

“Heather offered my husband and I an online weekly Lamaze course that prepared us so well for the birth of our son. We gained so much insight and knowledge that we needed to make informed decisions about our birth plan. When we arrived at the hospital, I felt calm and prepared because Heather gave such a great overview of everything from medical intervention risks and benefits, to coping with pain strategies, and advocating for your body and your birth story. I loved how her course felt approachable, affordable, yet very informative.”

“I did prenatal yoga with Heather through the last half of my pregnancy and it was the best decision ever! I highly recommend taking classes with Heather, she's a great teacher!”
